The Books Are My Bag Readers Awards include seven category shortlists – Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Young Adult Fiction, Children's Fiction, Picture Book, and Newcomer of the Year –which are chosen by bookshops across the UK and Ireland, while the Readers' Choice Award – nominated and chosen entirely by readers – completes the set.
