To win, all you need to do is to tweet #oneinamillion and say what your favourite bookshop is and why.

The competition opens on Bookshop Day (Saturday 7th October) and will close on Tuesday 7th November so you’ll have a month to tweet your favourite bookshop – and if you have more than one favourite, send more than one tweet!

The winners will be the tweets that in the eyes of the Books Are My Bag team, best capture what is great about bookshops. We understand there’s a character limit on Twitter but go into as much detail as you like - Twitter Threads are great things!

Entry to the competition is open to everyone in the UK and Ireland. The only stipulation is that you use the #oneinamillion hashtag.

Winners will be notified in November and announced in time for our Saturday Sanctuary festivities (Saturday 25th November). The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into. Good luck!
